- Xstrata is to be removed from the FTSE and S&P indices effective May 1, and FTSE states that it will issue after the close tomorrow the index changes following the merger with Glencore, currently William Hill looks set to take XTA’s spot in the FTSE 100 as it tops the FTSE 100 Reserve List
- Ocado stated after hours yesterday that it was in talks with Morrison over a possible licensing agreement, but confirms it does not involve sale of the business or a purchase of an Ocado stake by Morrison
- Sky News suggests that RBS is planning talks with investors in a move to reduce the expected AGM protests
