- Barratt Developments announces a full year adjusted pre-tax profit of £104.8m on revenues of £2.61bn and details an average selling price of £194,800 from £180,500
- Thorntons announces a full year pre-tax profit of £5.6m from £0.9m on revenues of £221m up 1.8%

- The chief of Barclays has been the latest senior city figure to warn of a possible housing bubble
- PMQs as standard are today at 1pm and may give further details on the UK moves in the UN on Syria
- Tesco detailed yesterday that it is to sell its fresh & Easy chain to Yucaipa as it exits the US market
- Vodafone stays in focus as it has until midnight tonight to gain the 75% acceptances for the Kabel Deutschland deal, with talk that hedge funds have been buying up the German stock in size, looking to force Vodafone to pay a higher price
- London Capital Group fell 7% yesterday as it detailed that tradefair, a unit of Betfair, will end its Spreadbet and CFD white label agreement this December, LCG stated that the deal provided around 5% of its profits last year
- The FCA states that it is investigating possible manipulations of the ISDA benchmark measures tied to interest rates swaps

- Jon Corzine is attempting to have a lawsuit brought against him by the CFTC thrown out arguing that the complaint ‘relies on irrelevant allegations calculated to sully Mr Corzine’s character, as well as rambling hindsight criticisms of complex management decisions’ Jon Corzine at MF Global was in charge of the 8th largest bankruptcy in US history
