UK Corporate Announcements
- Vodafone confirms its full year guidance as it reports Q2 organic service revenues fell 4.9%, just worse than forecasts of 4.6, on H1 group revenues of £22.03bn
- Land Securities announces an H1 pre-tax profit of £397m from £131m, with adjusted NAV up 3.8%
- TalkTalk details that H1 total revenues gained to £843m from £828m and lifts its full year revenue growth guidance to at least 3% from 2% and lifts its medium term revenue growth target
- Babcock reports an H1 pre-tax profit of £141m from £121m on revenues of £1.7bn from £1.56bn
- CRH states that H2 EBITDA is expected to be in line with last year and added costs savings have been identified and that a detailed portfolio review is underway
- Speedy Hire announces an H1 adjusted pre-tax profit of £6.8m with revenues up 0.4% to £169m and states it is maintaining consistent strategy but is not expected to benefit from the recovery this year
- Oxford Instruments states that it is in talks to buy Andor Technology at 500p and states that it saw a marked improvement in trading in Q2
- Premier Farnell reports Q3 sales gained 2.1% and expects to maintain its market share but states that it does have limited forward order visibility
